Easy BBQ Sloppy joes



Ingredients:

1 lb. Ground Turkey
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped red pepper
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup Walden Farms Thick & Spicy Barbecue Sauce
4 hamburger buns, split


Directions:

1) Cook turkey in large nonstick skillet until cooked through; drain.
2) Add peppers and onion; cook and stir until tender.
3) Add barbecue sauce; cook until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally.
4) Fill buns with turkey mixture.

Hey I love sloppy joe! I have not been to your recipe site in a few days but this looks great! Minus the bun cause I dont eat much bread... on a low carb tortilla, lots of cheese, ohhh jalapenos! Oh add that recipe! Call it Mexican sloppy joe! You are mkaing me hungry!

Scott, I am calling upon your expertise. My hubby and I are both WLS patients (I had RNY in April and he had the sleeves in May) and we have a church potluck next Sunday. Is there anything casserole-ish (I saw the mexican lasagne but that is a bit too spicy I think for us) that I could prepare for this event?
